1Our services

We are a licensed mechanical repair shop. We provide repairs, maintenance, and diagnostics, including steering and suspension, engine diagnosis, electrical and charging systems, cooling, heating, exhaust, emission and fuel systems, brakes, tires, and mechanical inspections. The details of any specific repair are agreed with you directly.

We provide an estimate before work begins, and we do not proceed until you approve it. If additional work turns out to be necessary once the vehicle is on the hoist, we stop and contact you with a revised estimate before continuing.

2Booking and appointments

Requests made through the booking form or by phone are appointment requests, not confirmed appointments. We confirm your time with you directly. Same day booking is often available but depends on the schedule and is not guaranteed.

3Text messaging program

Program. Bluenose Automotive Specialty sends text messages to people who have opted in, about enquiries, appointments, reminders, and service updates.

Opt in. Provide your phone number through our booking form or by phone, or reply to a message from our number.

Opt out. Reply STOP to any message. You get one confirmation and no further texts.

Help. Reply HELP, or contact mayflorence.pal@gmail.com or (780) 807-5754.

Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies with your activity. Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for messages; your carrier may. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4Your responsibilities

Give us accurate information about you and your vehicle, use the site lawfully, and do not attempt to disrupt or misuse it.

5Intellectual property

The content on this site belongs to Bluenose Automotive Specialty unless stated otherwise. Do not copy or reuse it without permission.

6Disclaimer

The site and its content are provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We work to keep the information accurate and the site available, but we do not guarantee either. Information on this site is general and is not a diagnosis of your vehicle.

7Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Bluenose Automotive Specialty is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or the messaging program. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.

8Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction.
